The starting point
Joelle's kitchen needed new cabinets and a backsplash, along with some other repairs around the house. On paper that is a straightforward scope. What made the result stand out was a design decision rather than a structural one.
The scope
We installed new kitchen cabinets and handled the various repairs around the home. The piece that brought it all together was the backsplash. Rather than treat it as a separate accent, we selected a backsplash that color-matched the wall and base cabinets, so the whole kitchen reads as one intentional, cohesive design instead of a set of separate elements. It was our selection, and it is the kind of choice that is hard to picture in advance but obvious once it is in.
The outcome
Joelle was thrilled — especially with the backsplash, which is exactly the detail that made the kitchen feel finished. Pulling the colors together across the cabinets and wall is what took the room from updated to genuinely designed.
