A porch with a new purpose
Edward wanted more from his open covered porch in Dade City: a comfortable, enclosed place where he could spend time and do his work. The solution needed to respect his budget and avoid extending the home’s central HVAC system.
Enclosed, with room to breathe
We framed the enclosure within the existing covered porch, retaining the slab and roof. The work brought together new wall sections, sheathing and weather protection, broad Eze-Breeze windows, an exterior door, and finished interior wall surfaces. The operable window system allows natural airflow when opened, giving Edward flexibility between an open-air feel and an enclosed porch.
See the transformation
The gallery opens with the enclosed exterior and interior, then follows the work from the original porch through framing, sheathing, window installation and wall preparation. The result is a more useful porch workspace, shaped around the way Edward wanted to use it.
Location: Dade City, Florida. No central HVAC extension was part of this project; the windows provide ventilation rather than mechanical cooling.

First, they asked what my budget was and then came up with a solution, they were the only company to do this.
