The starting point
Regan's bathroom had the common older layout where a separate tub and shower sat side by side, divided by a wall, each cramped by the other. She wanted to move away from the tub entirely and gain a real, generous shower in its place.
The scope
The move that changed everything was removing the wall separating the shower and tub. That let us transition the space from tub to shower and extend the shower footprint into the room the tub had been taking up — a noticeably larger, more open shower rather than a like-for-like swap. We enclosed it in frameless glass to keep the new openness visible rather than boxing it back in.
From there we elevated the whole room: an upgraded custom vanity, large-format tile on both floors and walls for a clean continuous look, LED mirrors, a motion-sensor toilet, and a private makeup area set apart for everyday use.
The outcome
Regan was extremely happy with the result — a bathroom that traded a dated, divided layout for a single, open, spa-like space designed around how she actually uses it.
