Lucie's Custom Media Wall

The starting point

Lucie wanted a media wall that felt built-in and intentional rather than a TV mounted over a freestanding console. The brief was for something simple but elegant — a restraint that is harder to pull off than it sounds, because every element has to earn its place.

The scope

We built a bump-out feature wall to give the media area depth and make it read as architecture rather than furniture. Custom cabinetry was built in for storage, with floating custom cabinets accented by LED underlighting that gives the whole wall a soft, finished glow. Acoustical panels on the sides do double duty — they look like a design choice and they improve how the room sounds for media.

The outcome

The result is exactly the brief: a clean, elegant media wall that feels like part of the home's architecture, with the storage, lighting, and acoustics handled without clutter.
